The pictures were taken at Biennale 2013, Venice, Italy. It was my first visit to a Biennale in Venice and I was very much looking forward to this visit. I had only 2 days to view the excellent exhibition by over 150 artists from 37 countries. The exhibition was staged over a wide area at the Giardini and the Arsenale. I enjoyed looking at the art presented as much as watching visitors move between the artworks. I wanted to record the feeling of the event and decided to use a slow shutter speed when taking pictures. I set the shutter speed to 1/8th of a second. Here is what I saw.

Christoph Mueller was born in Vienna, Austria and is now living in Sydney, Australia. His interest in photography started at high school and included many hours in the dark room. While studying economics and IT in Vienna he continued to take and develop pictures. After migrating to Australia photography took second place. In recent years Christoph Mueller has been able to again focus on photography.
