Chris Ford, M.A., ARPS was born in the UK but immigrated to Canada at the age of 3, where he spent the next 30 years before returning to the UK. His interest in photography started in elementary school and carried on throughout high school and college. Upon arriving in the city of Oxford ('86) UK, by 1988 he was teaching the art and practice of photography at college and higher levels and continued to do so for the next 25 years. During this time he continued to pursue a number of photographic projects and has continually exhibited his work in Europe and North America. His first book, "In My Time" is a compilation of 30 years of his Street Photography, and was published in 2011 by Xlibris Publications. He is a graduate (2012) of the Master's Photography programme at De Montfort University in the city Leicester,UK, specialising in conceptual photography. He currently freelances, exhibits and conducts workshops, specialising in b/w analogue fine art photography.
