À propos du livre
“Saigon 1966”
I arrived in Vietnam early in 1966 and was there for fifteen months, stationed at MACV headquarters in Saigon as a draftsman. I explored Saigon, the people, their dress, their food, all were new, amazing and wonderful, even in that time of war. Wanting to record these memories I bought an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic.
"Saigon 1966" is a look back in time, resurrecting my old slides and memories.

À propos du créateur
Lynn Roylance

Having been an artist most of my life, my approach to photography is through fine art. I studied photography at Cal State Northridge with Roger Brown, I learned how to see in depth. I went on to Cal Arts where I received a BFA. Photography was a means to document my art, until one day I picked up a digital Leica. A camera that not encumbered with a lot of settings, I remembered the pleasure of photography.
