Iceland – photographs by Liz Johnson
The photographs in this book were taken during the month of June in 2013 while I was an artist in residence at the SIM Residency program in Iceland. In addition to photographing the spectacular icebergs at the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, I also became enchanted by the rest of Iceland’s magical landscapes. Waterfalls, geysers, mossy hills, dark rocky beaches punctuated by lava rock formations, truly a landscape photographer’s paradise. And so this collection of photographs from my artist residency is just a sampling of the spectacular views I was fortunate to experience on this truly extraordinary island.
