À propos du livre
Erin Tokarz and Kristin Dillon lived in Galveston, Texas for a year while their respective men replaced the deck on the tall ship, Elissa. They lived in a big house down the street from the Gulf of Mexico, and more notably, an amusement park which loomed above it. The year was strange and memorable and included many sweaty days, sandy feet, transient boat builders, tacos, and parades. And a baby, born on the island. Erin and Kristin took a lot of photographs to better understand the place they were living. Each photo they chose for the book represents their own perception of Galveston, which changed throughout the year. The collection is a combination of personal, Galveston, and universal themes. This is their first, and greatest book yet.
