Biography of Ellis Nelson, The Birdman of Muscoda.



This book covers his life from the beginning on an unfertile farm outside of a tiny Wisconsin town.



Untaught in any form of art, suddenly at age 56, he began building sculptures which rise out of dreamstate and vivid visions.



Now at age 80, Nelson still builds unusal sculptures every week.



Written by painter and sculptress LuLu Fry. She visited him nearly every few weeks for 2+ years.
