The author's passion for creating beautiful images took him on an Amawaterways Rhine Cruise from late August to early September, 2014. He used two 36 MP pro DSLR camera bodies (Nikon D810's) with him, covering the focal range from 24mm to 200mm with pro lenses at the ready. This really paid off during the highlight of the trip: cruising the Rhine Castles. Fabulous morning light and the ability to quickly switch from ultra wide angle to long telephoto paid off with some exquisite images, included here and suitable for detailed prints up to 40" x 60". Overall, he took over 5000 images, boiling them down to over 100 gems. This book contains 90 of those images, from Amsterdam, Cologne, Strasbourg, Lucerne, Basel, Zurich and more.
