Kristy Gordon is a Canadian artist. She says, "Working with themes of transition, my work embodies movement, change and transformation. The highest most fulfilling need of human life is that of self-actualization, and in order to have the courage to try to meet our highest goals we must be willing to make failed attempts and move forward despite uncertainty and fear. The journey of transformation requires us to relax and stay positive as we move through the unknown. My paintings explore this idea: the individual’s journey of transformation towards self-actualization."
