My mother was 70 years old the summer of 2014 and we decided to make a family reunion for her birthday. Not that easy when we live in 3 different countries, but we managed to meet all 13 of us for her birthday party. The book is partly from Spain where she lives, and partly from London where we all finally met for her big day. The photos in the book are taken by all of us, on a range of devices like camera phones, iPads and various cameras, the quality of the photos are therefore mixed. The title of the book is in Norwegian and means ‘The 70th birthday celebration’.

I was born in Norway in 1964 and moved to London, UK in 1999 where I still live. I am self-taught in the fields of photography, graphic design, web design and digital art, and my favourite subjects to portray through my photos are flowers from my garden and my cat along with other wildlife in my garden. Although my photography and digital art is largely for my own pleasure, I like the idea that someone else might want to enjoy the images I have created.
