À propos du livre
Ingrid Torjesen's realistic paintings focus on the raw natural beauty of local beaches, expressed in a surreal style. Her work explores the diverse and unique elements that make up this dynamic landscape such as driftwood in its many shapes and forms and the many varieties of glacial rocks which characterize the shoreline on the East End of Long Island.
Torjesen's compositions express the relationship between objects... Stones are more than stones, they stand majestic, wise, eternal. Driftwood seems to have arrived at its final resting place and gazes out to sea.
