Beatrice Karp is a Holocaust survivor, speaker, mother of four, and grandmother to seven. She resides in Omaha, NE and currently continues to speak about her experiences during WWII. Deborah Pappenheimer is the daughter of Beatrice Karp. She has taught drawing and painting at Iowa State University for 21 years and continues to teach and create art. She lives in West Des Moines, IA with her husband, Arthur Sanders and their dog Dylan. Their only child, Ben, is attending Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.
