À propos du livre
LEARD is a microcosm of the global tale of climate change and sociopolitical imbalance. An ultra-wealthy company received government approval to develop an open-cut coal mine in the middle of a critically endangered ecosystem which contains numerous aboriginal sacred sites. This approval came in spite of 300 submissions against the mine and only 1 for it. This is a story about people who take action against injustice and put themselves on the front line to fight for what they believe in.

We live on a wild and beautiful planet. The driving force at the core of my being is a desire to experience it all. In the process, I aim to do more than simply consume. Wherever I travel, I actively listen to the stories of people I meet and seek to discover what gives them purpose and brings them joy. In telling their stories, my hope and my goal is to contribute to a world that is more inclusive, more supportive, and values the wellbeing of us all. My commercial and documentary work has taken me around the globe to tell the stories of individuals, communities, and organizations. I have shot, directed, and produced videos in Berlin, Toronto, Seoul, Sydney, New York, Los Angeles, and Malawi.
