À propos du livre
Documenting the ordinary, WalkinWonderz, a series comprised of 100 images,
concentrates on everyday places and moments. During a hardship, I took a reprieve from my art. Only when I started shooting this series, over a two year duration, did my fortitude for photographing shape into something unexpected.
Daily, I began walking within the same three miles. This remedial and solitary action allowed me to be absorbed in the here and now and be present in the moment. Without hesitation, I photographed the familiar and the overlooked objects we pass by without notice. Inherent by nature, the changing light, the seasons and my walking path all played a part in the creation of each photograph with a unique personal perspective.
