À propos du livre
This is story of my four day visit to the Nambiti Private Game Reserve. It was an amazing success, a wonderful and exciting four days. The amount of wildlife I saw in the short time was beyond expectations. As always when looking for wildlife there can be periods with little to see and you sit patiently soaking up the atmosphere and then there are moments of great excitement and there were many. The most memorable for me was to see a Black Rhinoceros for the first time in my life and I have been to many game reserves and the other was to watch the large elephant herd bathing and playing in the dam. The Nambiti Reserve, located near Ladysmith in KwaZulu-Natal was cattle farmland until some fifteen years ago when it was returned to the wild to become the sanctuary it is today. It covers about 35 square miles and as well as the wildlife contains numerous sites of historical significance and the remains of old homesteads and cattle kraals as evidence of its farming history. I hope that previewing this book and seeing the photographs of these wonderful animals and birds in the wild will be an interesting and enjoyable experience. Please be aware that the electronic versions of the book require a suitable size screen to obtain the best previewing experience. I have no connections to the Reserve or any of the Lodges in any way.
