Eric Aldwinckle was a Canadian artist, designer and illustrator. One of the five original official Canadian War Artists of World War II, he returned to Canada and through to the late 1960's he maintained a prosperous design studio that included clients such as Imperial Oil, the University of Toronto, Stratford Festival and Maclean's magazine.
