À propos du livre
The manual is an adaptation of the ones created through the first Wanda project in the Flemish Community of Belgium, and the second international project, called 'When Wanda meets ISSA', which focused on quality improvement of ECEC practices within the ISSA (International Step by Step Association) network. The examples and experiences that you will read in this manual originated from these two projects.
For more background information, we will refer to additional sources in this text or to the downloads on the Wanda website: www.wanda.community. Specific materials (quicksheet for facilitators, glasses, posters, etc.) can be found in the toolbox available just for participants of Wanda-trainings. More information on www.wanda.community.
For whom is the manual?
This manual is primarily intended for professionals who work as supervisors, team leaders, (internal or external) coaches, trainers and coordinators who offer pedagogical support to practitioners/teachers/ assistants and who are able to take on the role of a Wanda facilitator. It can also be used by staff providing support for students who do their internship in this field. In a broader sense, any organisation that works with people can also use the manual to understand the method and possibly build their own Wanda paths.

À propos du créateur
Innovation for VBJK means working continuously on quality. We keep track of evolutions on the workfloor and in research, we follow-up in national and international changes and keep moving so that basic provision for young children can keep on growing. VBJK is committed to support, improve, deepen and fine-tune the daily work of so many professionals. We do this by connecting all involved parties: children, parents, practitioners, researchers, policymakers and all possible relevant organisations. We also do this in our coaching projects, our product development and our research. VBJK always looks for work on the crossroads between practice, policy and research. Every innovation stands on its own but is, at the same time, embedded in the larger picture. Here you can see how we work, both on the national and the international level.
