À propos du livre
Corrugations is a part of an ongoing photographic record of tin sheds and other structures mainly from the Hebrides in Scotland.
Some of the sheds in this book are no longer standing, others are still very much in use, some are in danger of being lost to a winter storm. They are my personal reference points in the landscape.
The first fabrication of corrugated iron sheeting in the 1820's heralded a break through in architectural design as whole buildings could be designed, fabricated, purchased from a catalogue of wonderful choices, and then transported - the first 'flat pack' - to remote places around the world.
