I have been taking photographs since I was seventeen. My first photo project was downtown Mexico City (1974-1976). My second project was downtown San José, Costa Rica and the countryside of Costa Rica (1977-1979). After that I did many other street photography projects in the Netherlands, Belgium and other European countries. I have published photo books with photos from Mexico, Costa Rica, Belgium and the Netherlands. My photos have been exhibited in Costa Rica, Mexico, Belgium and the Netherlands. I keep a Dutch blog with articles about painting, photography, history, travel, politics and related matters. In addition, I have been a painter with my own studio for 25 years. I regularly exhibit in the art gallery K26 in the Netherlands.
