À propos du livre
This title was tossed during my recent visit to Keukenhof in April 2015 by my wife, before I even thought of this book. The moment we entered into Keukenhof garden the sight was so mesmerizing with flowers blooming far and wide as distant as the eye can see. She said in one voice this looks like reflection of paradise on earth. The first feeling and reaction revealed was perfect to deliver the title of book. I think what she said is true. Indeed no words can describe the beauty of this garden which is decked with beautiful, colourful and bright flowers. The sight of this garden is so overwhelming that everyone who visits the heavenly garden gets in awe of its beauty.
I feel honoured and privileged to produce coffee table book on Keukenhof with my pictures. One of the most photographed place of the world. Truly a photographers and travellers paradise.
Keukenhof spreads to an area of about 32 hectares. This garden is laid with 7 million flowering bulbs, majority are Tulips, Daffodils, Hyacinth and trees of white Cherry. This was opened to public first time in 1950. The beauty of reflection of cherry blossoms in the canals is mind blowing. A spread of stunning coloured flowers beautifully landscaped in different shapes and themes all around will take your breath away. A true magical feeling. Though I was born and raised in Kashmir, India, where I was blessed to have an opportunity to spend my childhood in Mogul gardens like Shalimar and Nishat, but I have never seen anything like this in my life before. You feel like you are part of a fairy tale surrounded by colours of rainbow when you walk through colourful, heavenly and magical flowers with stunning arrangements. Most extraordinary glorious garden not to be missed in lifetime. I hope my pictures probably will reflect some justice to describe the beauty of this garden.

À propos du créateur
I was born and raised in Kashmir, India, where I was blessed to spend my childhood surrounded by spectacular mountains, valleys, meadows, flowers and lakes. After obtaining my Masters in Forestry I worked in New Delhi as a Scientist at TERI (Tata Energy Research Institute). I moved to Australia in 1992 and continued my career in the scientific field with the CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) where I currently still work as a Research Fellow, here in Canberra. I began to embrace photography when my family and friends gave me the opportunity to take photos at their weddings and other events. Consequently, I have now become a photographer. My passion for landscape photography has grown exponentially in the last 4 years. I love capturing sunsets, mountains, lakes, waterfalls, flowers, snow and the changing colors of the seasons. My love for photography continues to grow with every click. It is a journey with no end. I hope you will enjoy my photographs!
