À propos du livre
A fifty year journey at the waters edge with a camera. Much more than simply a fishing book. Inspired by my Grandfather, who taught me what he had learned in the jungles of Africa. To fish, forage and live in a responsible, respectful, sustainable way. This 200+ photo rich work is generously laced with the wonderful illustrations of my good friend, wildlife artist Michael J. Loates. It concludes in a most unexpected way, with nobody more surprised than myself that after all those years trying to catch Mullet, I would end up protecting them in a particular spot where they bath to heal their injuries and infections, which lead to a feature on BBC TV ‘Spring watch' program. This book also contains what later became 3 separate books that subsequently evolved into a new career of illustrated walks and talks on all aspects of living 'out of town' and a unique way of observing nature.

Writing is just one of my passions, three small books spawned from my epic #Source to Sea# are now published here on blurb .co.uk and in my spare time I give illustrated talks, photo exhibitions and guided walks on fishing, foraging and nature watching, respectfully and sustainably, learning to understand the natural world in a unique way.
