Jack Stephenson was an brilliant aerospace engineer who loved going light, so he invented a great variety of ultralight camping/hiking gear that was often derided in its time forty+ years ago, but now gives modern ultralighters pause to reflect. Two man tents that are fully four-season for well under three pounds, there's one example, and there are many others to be found in this 110 page lavishly illustrated volume about this controversial pioneer whose genius gear was often overshadowed by the manner in which his catalogs pushed his beliefs in a Naturist lifestyle. His catalogs are still the only ones to have ever featured nude gear models and luscious nude centerfolds. Mr. Stephenson passed away in early 2017, so this is the Commemorative edition.
