À propos du livre
All of the images in this book began as a normal digital image. To create my abstracts, I often begin by mirroring the original image horizontally and then mirroring it again vertically, cropping it to meet my needs as I go. This normally provides a lot of color and light to work with. Following that I take many, many different steps in multiple layers, and as a result I rarely recall all of the steps that were taken while creating a new abstract. Initially, I would remember what the original image was - but because I go through so many iterations during the creative process, saving the files with different names as I go, the original image is ultimately forgotten. The images in this book are all available for sale in sizes ranging from up to as large as 30 x 40 - in a wide variety of options, including the choice or paper, or an altogether different medium like highly polished metal or even acrylic.

À propos du créateur
Jacqueline (Jackie) Stoner
Kimberling City, Missouri
I was born and raised in Southern California, and retired to Kimberling City, MO with my husband in 2004. Virtually my entire career was spent with a manufacturing company where I started basically as a "Girl Friday". At the time of my retirement, I was the VP of Sales and Marketing. I loved my career - and miss the camaraderie - but am really enjoying my retirement. Especially my photography. I rarely go outside anymore without my camera bag slung over my shoulder and the tripod in the trunk. You just never know when a photo opportunity might present itself!
