Studio Channel Islands Art Center began in the 1990's on the site of the old Camarillo State Hospital. Their mission was to showcase emerging and established artists. supply art-related workshops and outreach programs to both children and adults, and provide a haven for art lovers. They have had many high caliber and memorable exhibitions of regional and national artists.



Today there are twenty-something Artists-In-Residence.



This book showcases the achievements and the artists as they face new challenges and opportunities in the years to come.
