À propos du livre
This book focuses on the spectacular island of Lanai and continues a love affair with the Hawaiian Islands that began almost 40 years ago.
While Lanai is one of the smaller islands in the Hawaiian chain, it is packed with amazing scenery that includes dramatic seascapes, beaches, lush rainforests, beautiful mountains and valleys, stunning red rock formations, colorful flowers, and charming fishing villages.
The island of Lanai is one of the smallest and least visited of Hawaii’s islands. With only 3,000 permanent residents, it has a small-town feel and avoids the crowds and tourist trap aspects of places like Waikiki Beach. Lanai is less crowded than other Hawaiian islands. This facilitates great landscape and seascape photography without needing to continually work around tourists.
This book provides detailed information and great images covering the very best locations on the island for amazing photography. Detailed camera settings information is provided for each image. Information and tips about composition and how images were created are often provided as well.
The book is intended to be useful to multiple audiences - tourists wanting to make the most of the time available to them when visiting the island, photographers and artists wanting to identify the best locations to create great images, those wanting to continuously improve their photography, and travelers wanting a high-quality keepsake remembrance of Lanai.
