À propos du livre
Making Art Inside Old Books: Jazz Books are works of art that began as playful markings on old
texts. The rigid pattern of books provides a canvas for acts of
disruption and “irreverent” manipulations of the past that evoke
potential for fresh possibilities. The art calls attention to certain
sections for emphasis, featuring some lines of type and masking
others, as stories are redirected or reframed. Jazz Books unfold as a
series of lively movements and dances—an animated art form of moving
stories that turns each volume into a visually provocative experience.
