À propos du livre
From the dust jacket cover:
In the above photo, I am the only male. the women love cameras. That and the situations like those pictured above are the sole explanation for the photos that follow. That's right. The photos in this book are little more than leftovers from some sort of cheap pick-up technique. I also just so happen to be in love with music and fell into a crowd that loves it as well.
However, more than any yearbook, graduation program, or news article, this book is a definitive record of a few of the greatest months of my life.
-Taylor Kuykendall
Photographer
I gave up on writing music a long time ago due to a lack of skill and imagination. Then I discovered that writing about music was far less difficult and had a lot of the same benefits -- access to musicians, free admission to events, excusable alcohol dependency and women, even if all these things are available in drastically reduced quantities.
The collection of photographs within represent some of the best experiences of my life, surrounded by friends and music, circumstances in which everything seems possible, if not probable and life seems beautiful, if not ethereal.
