À propos du livre
In the canyon waters of Utah, 1997, I leaned down in the boat to pick up my hat, and there he was, "Tribal Warrior." My head was sideways, looking where the rock wall met up with the water. A reflection was created that looked like a petroglyph, thus; my word, "Petreflection," was born. Now I travel the world with a camera at my side, looking for still water and the reflection on the opposite side. Sometimes there's a slight ripple in the water which makes it more realistic. Sometimes the water is so still, I can't tell where the earth ends and the water begins. The energy of the shore creatures is kind and gentle, and I believe they want to be seen and respected. Every time I find a new friend in reflection, it feels like a resonant joining with the earth. I love to capture the intimacy of nature without being intrusive. kathylowemusic.com
