À propos du livre
A setting of psalm 122 by C. H. H. Parry is used as an introit processional as the choir and clergy enter for the coronation of the British sovereign. Consequently the Parry setting is popular in Britain but little known elsewhere. Hubert Parry was of course the composer who set William Blake's poem "Jerusalem" to music, creating particular resonance with persons of British descent throughout the world.
The Naylor setting in this book uses the text of the King James Bible, and is for SSATTB choir accompanied on the organ. The music is also orchestrated for symphony orchestra, and all the parts are in the book. The work is of moderate difficulty to suit average singers.
