Elye McGrath is an Australian author, born and raised in NSW. Storytelling has always been his passion. He started working on his 'Cat Kingdom' trilogy when he was still in school. Based on the thirty-two cats he grew up with, the story centres around a world of cats and every character is modeled off a cat he used to own. Elye also created a graphic novel in his early twenties, titled 'Scavenger'. The three hundred page comic, which was originally personally hand drawn by Elye, took him almost two and a half years to complete. In 2015, Elye married his best friend, Rachael, and they are presently living happily ever after with their two cats, Hayley and Ember.
