Colin Devlin [of The Devlins] released his debut solo album 'Democracy of One' in 2009. Kenny Laurenson's contribution to Devlin's album has been extensive, not only as photographer but also as designer and art director. The project also led to Laurenson founding UntiedArtists.eu as an innovative label to launch the album.

This book shows the journey from audio to visual, the interpretation, articulation and expression of the music as photography and design.

The lush 240 pages are packed with Kenny Laurenson's photography of Devlin from 2008 onwards, followed by visuals, sketches and ideas that culminated in the album cover, numerous poster designs, record sleeves and a website.

The book is as rich in graphic design as it is in photography and illustrates the beauty of collaborative artists, audio and visual sharing a vision to create a complete and uncompromised piece across mediums.
