This book was written primarily for my daughter, Syd, so that I could preserve my mom's tamale making knowledge in a fun format. As a kid, I would help my mom make tamales after school. We made hundreds of them and we would sell them for $1.00 each from my dad’s tan GMC truck that he rigged up as a mobile fruit and veggie stand. The tamales would always be sold out. Mom’s recipe is magic!
