Hi, I'm Dallas—a curious creative with a love for nature and discovery. I find joy in laughing with my wife, skateboarding, playing with our dog, trying to make good coffee, and writing poetry. Writing, for me, is like a walled garden—a context at once safe and sprawling, spilling over with the wildness of life yet ordered by the blessedness of boundaries. It is a place to work and be at rest, a place to observe my surroundings and play in them. I've found the process of writing poetry to facilitate productivity as much as peace, discovery as much as creativity, and self-understanding as much as self-expression.
