À propos

I’ve been a writer my whole life but have become a more serious writer in the past ten years. I’ve continued to study the craft through community classes and attending residencies including Hedgebrook, Soapstone and the Voices of Our Nation Arts Foundation. In the past I’ve taught Evocation Non Fiction at the Art Studio, UC Berkeley to community members. The last book project I completed was an award winning collaborative piece, As Is, A collection of Vietnamese American Literary and Visual Arts which was awarded grants from the Puffin Foundation and City of Oakland. I was a contributor to Oakbook Magazine from 2006-2008. In the spring of 2012, I will be one of the featured writers in the upcoming exhibit, Broadsides: A Vanquished Terrain at the Intersection for the Arts.
